Colorado is known for its multitude of climbs from technical single pitch ascents to world-class bouldering. But there are some walls so long, intricate, and complex that they can only be completed in an extra long day, which gives us time to travel, plan, and climb without time restrictions, and allows us the ability to climb higher and more complex objectives such as the many alpine routes Rocky Mountain National Park climbing can offer. On our Rocky Mountain National Park guided rock climbs our professional local guides will provide you with the skill, the knowledge, and the abilities to help you reach your outdoor rock climbing goals, whether you’re looking to climb a specific peak or you’re looking to learn a new skill or ability we will bring you to new heights.
We’ll provide all the equipment including shoes, harness, helmet, and ropes, the transportation to and from the climbing area, and the instruction and professional mountain climbing guide, all custom-built to your ability and to offer you the best rock climbing vacation you have experienced. We’ll head out into such areas as Rocky Mountain National Park’s classic walls or Lumpy Ridge’s exciting and long slab climbs. We’ll get to choose from a variety of walls and climb in a number of styles.
After your extra long day climbing adventure, join us for a multi-day excursion where we’ll get to explore other thrilling routes in Rocky Mountain National Park; legendary climbs in Eldorado Canyon, and longer, more challenging and rewarding days farther afield to fulfill your rock climbing adventure trips.
Special Note: Due to the serious nature of these longer routes in Rocky Mountain National Park we may require you to join us on a pre-trip climb to confirm that you have the basic skills that these routes demand.To climb the classic routes in Rocky Mountain National Park you should be comfortable belaying a climbing partner, have the skills to climb up to 8 pitches of rock , and the stamina to approach the routes. The approach alone is between 1-4 miles, can take between 1 hour to 3 hours and can ascend between 500 and 4000 feet , depending on the route, before even putting on a rope. These are serious fun routes that require training and ambition to climb. Our guides are happy to share this experience with you but a little extra effort in being prepared will help set everyone up for success.
Price: $525 for the first person(pp) and $200 for each additional person.
Included in our rates: The services of a professional rock climbing guide, any rock climbing equipment (helmet, harnesses, shoes, delay devises), round-trip transportation from your Boulder hotel or our office, snacks and water (lunch is also included on full-day tours), and education about local and natural history (including library of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna).
Not included in our rates: Park entrance fees, which are $10 per person daily for Eldorado Canyon State Park and $10 per person per week for Rocky Mountain National Park. Entrance fees are paid directly to the Parks upon entrance, gratuities for your guide are also not included (while the amount is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%).
