A fantastic seven-day adventure through Mexico’s southern Baja California Peninsula. Play on endless Pacific beaches. Grab a surfboard or boogie-board and slide along Pacific waves. Hike in a national biosphere reserve or choose to sea kayak, snorkel, or scuba dive on reefs in a national marine sanctuary. Also available are whale-watching, horseback riding or mountain biking. Relax on the beach under the warm tropical sun. Explore colorful Baja with a guide who knows the best spots for adventure!

Day 1: Airport Pickup in Los Cabos. Orientation with your guide, then drive to a beach and put your toes in the sand! Enjoy a group dinner of delicious Baja cuisine before stargazing and falling asleep to the sound of the sea.
Days 2-3: Explore Cabo Pulmo National Marine Sanctuary, where warm beaches welcome us for swimming or simply relaxing in the warm sand with a cold beverage in hand. Guests will have the opportunity to a choose guided snorkeling tour or guided kayaking trip. Snorkeling off the beach gives you a glimpse into the abundant life under the sea while guided sea kayaking is an option that gives us freedom to explore more beaches, watch for manta rays leaping out of the sea, and visit a sea lion colony. The quiet serenity of our mornings will be punctuated by the sea splash of pelicans diving for fish. After each day of adventure the sunset will paint our world pink and orange while the waves soothe our senses. Optional activity: Scuba diving can be arranged for $225 per person.
Days 4-6: Scenic 2 hour drive over the mountains, with lunch at an artisan café. From the quaint town of Todos Santos we explore the Pacific Coast of Baja. The Pacific offers us vast beaches, playful surf, and winter sightings of whales right offshore! Activities will include surfing, hiking , mountain biking and sea turtle releases if available. There is also time to explore the famous art galleries, cafes, and shops of colorful Todos Santos, an official Pueblo Mágico of Mexico. optional activities include: massages, sport fishing or horseback riding.
Day 7: Discover the Pearl, nickname for the capital city of La Paz, where we will wander through the market or the central plaza of this historic Mexican port. During the day we will snorkel with whale sharks! Spend the evening strolling along the picturesque waterfront, dine out at a gourmet restaurant or dance the night away at a discoteca. Relax in a comfortable hotel before next morning’s departure.
Day 8: Depart to Los Cabos International Airport for return flights.
Guide: Brad Kahland has worked as a Sea Kayak Guide in Monterey Bay, an Adventure Guide in Mexico, Alaska, Canada, and the U.S., a Naturalist in California and Colorado, a Grand Canyon Park Ranger, and a Field Instructor and Family Counselor for wilderness therapy programs in Colorado. Not included: Transportation to/from Los Cabos International Airport, laundry, alcoholic beverages, personal equipment, all optional activities , and gratuities for your guide(s) – while this is at your discretion, the recommended amount is 20%
