Description: An exciting and beautiful way to experience the wild side of Colorado! A scenic 2 hour zipline tour in the morning and a thrilling ride down Clear Creek Colorado whitewater rafting trips close to Denver and Boulder. Continuous class III and IV rapids will thrill guests throughout the descent around Idaho Springs The minimum age for participants is fourteen years old for rafting. You can expect the zipline tour to last about 2 hours spend three to three and a half hours on this intermediate white water rafting tour.
Itinerary: We’ll start in Idaho Springs and experience a four-hour whitewater experience through Clear Creek Canyon. Our rapids will range from Class II to Class V dependent on the time of year and the section of river that we’re navigating. After your heart stops pounding we get to relax with a wonderful Creekside lunch before we get right back after and head off to experience an exciting 2-3 hour zip-line tour across Clear Creek Canyon.
Included in our rates: the services of a professional guide and rafting guide; rafting trip; wetsuit, booties, and personal flotation device.
Not included in our rates: Snacks or water, and gratuities for your guides (while this is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%). Transportation.
Special Notes- zipline tours Requirements: 48″ tall & 65 to 250 lbs. A $10 land use/river use will be added to each group.
Special Notes- rafting: For safety, Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides include a wetsuit and booties in our price. We firmly believe in your overall safety and comfort so while some companies include wetsuits, booties, gloves and splash-jackets as ad-on options, we include them in our price. The wetsuit and the booties help to protect you from the icy cold mountain waters of Clear Creek Canyon and thus are included in our price. However, we also believe it would be a shame not to capture a memory of your Colorado Whitewater Rafting adventure so we also include a photo CD to remember your incredible day.

Whitewater rafting – Class II – IV rapids and whitewater. CLASS II – Easy rapids with predictable waves, clear passages, and wide channels; some maneuvering is required. CLASS III – Moderately difficult rapids with irregular waves and some complex maneuvering required to avoid obstacles. CLASS IV – Difficult rapids with complex channels, waves, and hydraulics. Precise maneuvering in turbulent waters is often required to avoid significant obstacles.
