Dates in bold are available, but only recommended to folks who have had time to acclimate for a longer period (minimum of 2 nights, three days) before setting out on this trip. The first day would be 7 miles, 2,000 feet of elevation gain to Thunder Lake at 10,574 feet.

**We have 2 permits for July 18th – July 20th. Only 1 of these permits requires acclimatization due to its elevation, the other itinerary includes a campsite at a lower elevation on the first night, making it more accessible for all adventurers.**
