Rocky Mountain Team Building
Many businesses recognize the benefit of “out of office” time for developing relationships and group bonding, but Colorado Wilderness Corporate and Teams believes time outside the office becomes more meaningful when it is truly “outside.” Whether hiking a scenic trail, tackling class 4 rapids, learning how to cast on a gorgeous river or flying down an intoxicating descent on a bike, participants of group adventure outings can break away from their office roles and share at a different level when surrounded by nature’s expanse and beauty. As stress levels typically fall within minutes of seeing green spaces, we deliver something that just can’t be gained from a group dinner! Our Group Adventure Outings offer a number of ways to create the perfect mountain day or outdoor experience. Enhance your conference, meeting, or retreat with a custom-designed outdoor adventure!

Boulder Creek Tubing - There is no better way to see Boulder than by rushing down Boulder Canyon through the famed creek, with its rushing water and thrilling drops, all the way into the center of downtown. Tubing is a classic Boulder pastime, with the cool mountain water coming directly from the rocky mountains, providing the antithesis to a hot summer day. We’ll get you set up with the tubes, drive you up to the drop-off point, and make a series of thrilling runs down the river. In mid-summer, check out Tube to Work Day where Boulder rides the river dressed in their business best. After a long day of tubing, head over to Eben G Fine park and check out the classic rope swing. We also provide guided tubing experiences of The Clear Creek River in Golden for groups in and around Denver and Golden.
Fly Fishing- Come experience the great fly fishing opportunities that have made Colorado famous. We offer half-day and full-day guided Colorado fly fishing wade trips and fishing float trips. From the reservoirs, creeks, and lakes around Boulder Canyon, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Dream Stream to the canyons and rushing waters of the Upper Colorado, which we explore by raft or wooden dory, we will take you to Colorado’s best fly fishing spots. We are one of a select few permitted outfitters on the Upper Colorado, as well as a licensed outfitter with many land managers. We supply the rods, reels, waders/booties, seasonal wet/dry/nymph flies to match hatches while taking you on some of Colorado’s extraordinary waterways.
Mountain Biking - Colorado is one of the world’s mountain biking meccas, with thousands of single-track and cross-country trails spread throughout the Boulder-Denver area. Colorado Wilderness Corporate and Teams offers a number of half and full-day trips such as a traverse of the Continental Divide, a thrilling Rocky Mountain National Park Downhill Ride at 12,000-feet, or a descent of the Switzerland Trail, which follows an old gold mining trail from Boulder Canyon into the city. We provide the bikes, safety equipment, and guide, matching each trail to our guests’ wishes and ability level. From scenic descents to thrilling technical single-track, we have the ride your group is looking for.
Rock Climbing- From the thousands of routes in Boulder and Eldorado Canyon to the sprawling alpine walls of Rocky Mountain National Park, our guides lead Colorado’s most classic routes and climbs, from the Bastille Crack to the Diamond, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and challenging experience, which is perfect for first-timers and veterans alike. For beginners, we’ll explore Boulder Canyon, with its varied climbing terrain and surfaces, or summit the faces of Boulder’s Flatirons. Experienced climbers will take on classic lines in Eldorado Canyon State Park, or the alpine routes on Longs or Hallett Peak in Rocky Mountain. Let us plan your dream climb.
Road Cycling- Boulder is a mecca of road cycling and the home and playground of professional Olympians and tri-athletes. Some of Boulder’s most classic tours, such as a ride through Lyons and Longmont on the open spaces of Highway 36, or a tour through Golden up to Red Rocks Amphitheater. Explore the new trails that connect Boulder and Denver, or enjoy a ride through the urban trails that run inside of the city. We’ll set you up with the bikes, guide, and a trail that matches your level of ability and comfort while taking in some of Colorado’s splendid scenery.
Boulder Craft Brewery Tours - Colorado’s famed craft beer industry is one of the most well-known and loved in the nation. Thousands of microbreweries are breaking the barrier with innovative flavors, cutting-edge brewing techniques, ethical sourcing, and a kind of local pub, which is as much of a community watering hole as it is a brewery. Come explore the history and tradition of Boulder and Denver’s craft beer business, as we meet the brewmasters, sample the local flavors, discover how Colorado is changing the way we look at beer, and explore new flavors, from the curious to the whimsical.
