
Raft Guide Training
Our Colorado River Guide Training is a two-week intensive program for river rafting enthusiasts and aspiring whitewater professionals. Upon completion, you'll meet all requirements for Colorado Raft Guide certification, with just a 1-day client trip needed to finalize.

Requirements: Participants must be 18 or older, reasonably fit, possess adequate dexterity and range of motion, and be strong swimmers.
Provided: Temporary gear will be provided, including a PFD, paddle, helmet, splash jacket, raft, ropes, and campsite.
Not Provided: Wetsuits, drysuits, warm-layer clothing, footwear, food, and camping gear are not included.
Expectations and Conditions: This program spans up to 10 days outdoors in mid-May on northern Colorado rivers, including the Colorado River near Kremmling. Expect long, sometimes cold days with average temperatures of 64° high / 31° low and the possibility of five days of rainfall. Be prepared for fluctuating weather, including sun, rain, snow, and wind. The course will involve swimming in swift-moving currents (up to Class III rapids), walking on rocky and slippery shorelines, and carrying boats and gear.
