Weekend Trip (2 Day)
Fish sub-alpine lakes and streams in the shadow of Mt. Alice, searching for native Greenback Cutthroat Trout. Hike to Thunder Lake and explore stunning waterways near the Continental Divide. A moderate trip with a 7-mile hike each day and an elevation gain/loss of 2,110’. Fly fish, camp, and enjoy breathtaking scenery. Includes gear check, meals, and guided fishing. Difficulty: Moderate, 3-6 miles per day.


Long Weekend (3 Day)
Fish for Greenback Cutthroat Trout in Thunder Lake, set against the Continental Divide. This 3-day adventure includes hiking through the forest, fishing inlet and outlet streams, and experiencing stunning sub-alpine lakes. Hike 7 miles each way with 2,100’ elevation gain/loss. Enjoy early morning fishing and scenic views while exploring this remote area. Difficulty: Moderate, with altitudes between 7,000’ and 10,500’.


Flat Top Wilderness Area (7 Day)
Explore Colorado’s 2nd largest wilderness area, with stunning alpine lakes and rivers. Fly fish for ribbon cutthroat trout across the basin’s lakes. Hike through evergreen forests and high plateaus, covering 4-8 miles daily with up to 2,500’ elevation gain/loss. Enjoy breathtaking scenery and seclusion. Difficulty: Moderate to hard hiking at altitudes between 9,000’ and 12,000’.

After booking, your guide will contact you to fully personalize your trip. Customize your departure time, fishing duration, and destination based on your needs and preferences.


Included: Professional guide, round-trip transport (if requested), fishing gear (rod, reel, flies, waders, booties), lunch (for full-day trips), snacks, bottled water, and local natural history education.


Not Included: Guide gratuity (20% recommended,auto-added for groups of 6+), Colorado fishing license, private water rod fee. License registration link provided.
