The Colorado River is the major connection piece for much America Southwest (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona and Southern California. The Colorado River can be divided into two major parts: The Upper River Basin and The Lower Colorado River Basin. Our rafting, fly-fishing, multi-day experiential leadership (or team building) programs, and multi-sport adventure trips happen in the Upper Colorado River Watershed and more specifically mainly in the Upper Colorado River in the Upper Colorado River Basin.  This area is an amazing riparian ecosystem that nourishes much of Colorado’s western slope from wildlife habitat’s, recreation (rafting, fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, photography, hunting, ATV’s, and more), agriculture, petroleum production, education, and etc. To help gain perspective on the scope of this area, it is important to see the overall scope of this area, including the Upper Colorado River in the BLM’s land around Kremmling Colorado down through Glenwood Springs Colorado, through maps (and geography).  The Colorado Rivers’ headwaters are in the Western side of Rocky Mountain National Park. The river headwaters flow into Grand Lake (Colorado’s largest naturally forming lake). Then flows into Shadow Mountain Reservoir, then Lake Granby Reservoir. After exiting Lake Granby’s Dam, it flows about 35 miles, past Sulfur Springs, west through the town of Kremmling. Colorado.
