Colorado Sight Seeing Tours: Half Day


Boulder Brewery Tour

Boulder is one of America’s craft brew-meccas with dozens of small breweries lining its streets, all creating a culture of innovative flavors, brewing techniques, and new beer styles. Gather your friends, family, or coworkers for a private tour. Your group will explore three of Boulder’s most well known breweries with tours and tastings, from it’s oldest to a father-son team reinventing the meaning of craft beer. For those with a love for everything beer, this is the tour for your group!


Itinerary: Your group will visit three breweries on our tour, each with its own unique philosophy, method, and flavor. While the beers come in their standard variants, the breweries are using new and interesting techniques to create in some cases, Willy Wonka-like concoctions. We’ll have the opportunity to tour with the brew masters and take part in tastings as well as standard pub fare. This is an exciting look into one of Boulder’s most cherished industries

Boulder Photo Tour

Boulder is one of the most photogenic cities in America, surrounded by the iconic Flatirons, majestic snow-capped mountains, historical 20th century architecture, and a host of colorful characters. This tour is for those who want to improve their urban and natural photography skills. We’ll explore Boulder’s scenic points and our expert guides will help you improve your technique in color, exposure, and angle, as we see the best of Boulder’s landscape.


Itinerary: We’ll start in vibrant and colorful downtown Boulder, with it’s brick architecture, historic theater and hotels, and exciting life, set in a backdrop of mountains, hills, and the Flatirons. Afterwards we’ll drive through Chautauqua Park with it’s dazzling mountain view and up Flagstaff Road, one of the highest vantage points in Boulder, where we’ll be able to overlook Boulder and Denver. Along the way we’ll learn about photography technique and work on skills.


Special Notes: Clients are expected to bring own camera gear. Our goal is to help educate our guests on their own equipment. We can arrange special camera, lenses, or photography equipment for an additional charge. Each day is based on guest educational and photography goals.

Explore Boulder

Boulder is one of America’s most vibrant outdoor and cultural meccas, known not only for its mountains, but also for its art, culinary scene, breweries, and storied architecture. This tour will explore Boulder’s rich cultural history; from its beloved downtown with the historical Hotel Boulderado and the Boulder Theater, to its many breweries, restaurants, and shopping district. We’ll even have time to drive up part of Flagstaff Road, at the top of one of Boulder’s highest peaks and overlook the landscape all the way to Denver. Schedule this tour for the end of the day and watch sunset over the Continental Divide, see the city of Boulder lit-up in lights, and learn about all Boulder’s natural and local history. This is a great trip for families, groups, group tours, wedding groups, reunions, individuals, aspiring photographers, and those interested in history and natural history or sightseeing.


Itinerary: We’ll drive to Boulder and explore the downtown including Pearl Street, the Hotel Boulderado, and Boulder Theater. Along the way we’ll learn about Boulder’s rich history as a mining camp and then slowly growing to one of America’s cultural centers. We will have time to explore Boulders vibrant downtown as well as its open spaces. The day ends with a trip up flagstaff mountain where the views are expansive – both over the planes to the east and the high mountains to the west. We can also add visits to Boulder scientific sights and most famous tea producer.

Explore Boulder & Nederland

Explore Colorado’s frontier spirit with a tour of two twin mountain towns: Boulder and Nederland. Separated by the spectacular Boulder Canyon, Boulder and Nederland are the gateway to the Front Range, and a look into Colorado’s rustic past, with many of the same buildings, relics, and historical monuments still remaining. In Boulder we’ll discover the humble beginnings as a gold mining camp, which then became Colorado’s artistic mecca. We’ll discover the sights and colors of Pearl Street and drive past the majestic Flatirons before making our way into Boulder Canyon and driving up towards Nederland. Nederland, commonly known as ‘Ned’ between locals was a trading post between Ute Indians and European settlers. Today it’s one of Colorado’s favorite mountain towns, set on the edge of the Indian Peaks Wilderness with breathtaking scenery rising all around. Our guides will tell you about the history, culture, and geography of this quirky and fascinating little town.


Itinerary: We’ll start by exploring the city of Boulder including Pearl Street, Chautauqua Park, and the historical downtown district. We’ll learn about Boulder’s art and cultural scene as well as its culinary tastes and famed breweries. We’ll then drive approximately 30 minutes up Boulder Canyon, to the town of Nederland where we’ll explore the gorgeous mountain scenery, drive up the historic main street, and bask on the sides of Barker Reservoir. This is Colorado mountain towns at their best!


Explore Golden

Explore Colorado’s rich cultural and natural history with a fascinating tour through Downtown Golden, Colorado and the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We’ll explore historical mining sites, Wild West relics, and Colorado’s bustling craft brew industry. Time permitting we’ll get to see the grave of Wild West showman Buffalo Bill, and explore the museum dedicated to the history of American mountaineering. Along the way, getting to see spectacular views overlooking Denver and Denver International Airport.


Itinerary: We’ll leave Boulder or Denver and drive approximately 30 minutes to Golden, enjoying a gorgeous panorama of the Flatirons and Eldorado Canyon or the Golden Cliffs along the way. When we get to Golden we’ll see the famous Coors brewery or a local Golden microbrewery, and possibly take a tour and tasting as well. Sometimes, we stop at America most famous mountaineering museum and dive into the rich climbing history of US. While in Golden, we’ll drive up one of the most historic roads in Colorado history and possible explore a local Canyon. As we ascend above Golden we will visit ancient dinosaur tracks or the museum and grave of Buffalo Bill, the famed Western showman, and look over the beautiful Colorado landscape.  The conclusion of this tour will be seeing Denvers’ own Buffalo herd (if they are not hiding) and the Colorado’s most famous music venue – Red Rocks.


Special Notes: We have a few variations of this tour and depending on group interests, the actual itinerary might be slightly different each time. If the tour is visiting Red Rocks, we recommend an am tour in summer as the park closes in afternoon on concert nights. Denver hotel pick-up is extra $120 per group. Groups of 6 or more are charged a 20% service charge (guide gratuity).

Colorado Sight Seeing Tours: Full Day


Clear Creek & Mt. Evans Guided Sightseeing Tour

Take a trip on one of the highest paved roads in the United States and one of the only to rise above 14,000-feet. Drive to the top of Mt. Evans, one of Colorado’s 54 fourteeners (peaks over 14,000-feet) and take in a breathtaking view of the Clear Creek Valley all the way to Longs Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park. This tour will take you through a variety of life zones, from fir-lined forests to rocky sub-alpine plains, arriving to the summit above 14,000-feet where we’ll see playful wild mountain goats and bighorn sheep as we eat lunch from the cabin at the summit.


Itinerary: We’ll drive approximately two hours from Boulder and Denver along the Mt. Evans highway, where we’ll pass by Idaho Springs and relics from Colorado’s gold mining history. We’ll start by driving through the lower forests and then head uphill above the timberline, where we’ll arrive at the summit and the ruins of the former Crest House, a restaurant and souvenir shop that burned down in 1971. From the top we can look out to Denver and the Eastern Plains, as well as Rocky Mountain National Park and the peaks around Clear Creek County. You will never forget the view from the top!

RMNP Photography Tour

Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most photogenic national parks in the nation. From Longs Peak dominating the skyline to Hallett Peak rising sharply above Emerald Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park is a paradise for landscape, wildlife, and sport photographers. This tour will take you to the heart of our country’s fourth most-popular national park, from the meadows to the high peaks, in search of some of North America’s most iconic scenery.


Itinerary: As we enter Rocky Mountain National Park, we’ll immediately be greeted by spectacular views of the southern Rockies. We’ll be surrounded by wildlife, mountains, and grand vistas. Your guide will pull off at strategic points where you’ll be able to get the best view at the right time of day. We’ll also have time to explore Bear Lake and Emerald Lake, with Hallett Peak magnificently reflected in their waters. Along the way, you’ll learn and hone your photography techniques while being coached by our enthusiastic and expert photography guides.

RMNP Summer

This loop tour allows you to travel along one of the highest motorable roads in the United States. From the grassy meadows, we drive to the top of the Continental Divide, seeing some of the best vistas, lakes, wildflowers, and wildlife the Park has to offer along the way. We provide in-depth information on the history and geology of Colorado beginning about 75 million years ago and covering up to the present day. There will be many opportunities to see the flora (trees and plants), wildlife, historical structures, and expansive vistas as we make about 10-12 stops along this amazing journey. The goal of this tour is to provide a safe and educational experience not found in a guidebook.


Itinerary: For this tour, we depart Boulder, Denver in the morning and travel through the town of Estes Park into Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). For Estes park departures, we depart from downtown Estes Park and travel into Rocky Mountain National Park. After entering RMNP at the Fall River gate, we wind our way up Old Fall River Road to the alpine visitor center and then travel down the impressive Trail Ridge Road. Once back in the meadows, we make our way through Moraine Park to Bear Lake for spectacular views of Hallett Peak. After visiting Bear Lake, we journey out of the park through the town of Estes Park and head back to Boulder or Denver via a section of Peak to Peak Highway to Allenspark. This part of the trip takes us past Lily Lake and the Twin Sisters, with Longs Peak and Mt. Meeker soaring to the West.

RMNP Winter

Enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park without the crowds, as we drive across a majestic snowy setting with opportunities to see elk, moose, deer, mountain goats, and bighorn sheep. Its truly Rocky Mountain National Park at its best. While the high roads are closed due to snow, we will delve into the lower areas and explore the grasslands, prairies, and valleys while gazing at Rocky Mountain’s iconic peaks such as Longs and Hallett. Rocky Mountain National Park takes on a whole different character in the winter and we’re proud to show you our beloved landscape.


Itinerary: We’ll depart Boulder or Denver and drive approximately one hour to Rocky Mountain National Park where we’ll drive across the lower prairie and grasslands as we look for herds of elk and deer. We’ll have opportunities to pull to the side and look over the breathtaking scenery. We might have the option to explore several small, short walking trails, which will bring us even closer to Rocky Mountain’s incredible beauty.
