From the Flatirons to the Bastille, Boulder’s multi-pitch classics are long, enduring climbs, with spectacular exposure, unparalleled scenery, and some of the best ascents in the state. We’ll start with a quick run-up one of the iconic Flatirons, and then move to Eldorado Canyon, where we’ll take on one of hundreds of routes that were set and established by Colorado’s early climbing legends. This is a great way to learn the ins and outs of multi-pitch climbing, including technique and anchors. This is the way to see the best of Colorado climbing!
Trip Details
Itinerary: We depart and end from your hotel or a central meeting spot, driving 15-25 minutes to the climbing site. While driving, we will cover vital safety and climbing considerations. After arriving at trailhead, we will confirm all safety and personal climbing equipment (shoes, harness, helmets, belay devises, and more). Normally it is a 10-40 minute hike to our climbing site depending on which route we choose based on the desires of the group. We then head off for a day of climbing. After climbing we celebrate a good day and get ready to do it all over again!
Included in our rates: The services of a professional rock climbing guide, any rock climbing equipment (helmet, harnesses, shoes, delay devises), round-trip transportation from your Boulder hotel or our office, snacks and water (lunch is also included on full-day tours), and education about local and natural history (including library of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna).
Not included in our rates: Park entrance fees, which are $10 per person daily for Eldorado Canyon State Park and $10 per person daily for Rocky Mountain National Park. Entrance fees are paid directly to the Parks upon entrance, gratuities for your guide are also not included (while the amount is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%).
Special Notes: Denver hotel pick-up is extra $120 per group.
Groups of 6 or more are charged a 20% service charge (guide gratuity).
