If you’ve never ridden the Continental Divide Trail, and you’re up for the challenge, then don’t wait to book this epic trip for Summer and Fall. For experienced riders only, this Front Range trail will test you with its altitude (11,671′) and distance (65-95 miles). Ride the Continental Divide Trail! This extreme mountain bike route includes spectacular vistas, high alpine lakes, riding above the treeline, conifer forests and an ascent of the Continental Divide at 11,671’. The ride is the “mack daddy” of Front Range biking and is a “must ride” if you are in the Boulder, Denver, or Estes Park Areas. This is a hard ride due to the altitude and distance, but is technically easy to moderate. The tour follows single track, doublewide track and a 4×4 road for 30.2 miles out and back with the option of adding another 10-20 miles.

Trip Details
Itinerary: We depart from your hotel or a central meeting spot and drive 1-1:15 minutes to the designated trailhead. While driving, we will cover vital safety and riding considerations. After arriving at the trailhead, we will custom fit your bike, if we did not do so prior to departing, and then head off for a 6 or more hour great mountain bike tour.
Included: The services of professional biking guide(s); bike rental (Fuji hard-tailed mountain bike) and helmet; round-trip transportation between hotel or central meeting location and trailheads, Bike shuttle needed for this trip, water and snacks; education about local and natural history, repair kits (floor pump, hand pump, patch kits, medical kits, etc.).
Not Included: Gratuities for guide (while this is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%). Denver hotel pick-up is extra $125 per group.
Special Notes: Bike Upgrade Available! We can arrange for a full suspension mountain bike for an additional cost to Ride the Continental Divide Trail.
Difficulty Description: Hard: Physically (65-95 miles and/or 2500-3500′ of elevation gain.) For Avid Riders. Technical Difficulty: More difficult. Steep slopes and/or obstacles, possibly on narrow trails with poor traction. Requires riding experience and very good fitness. Due to altitude that this ride takes place, the “Ride the Continental Divide Trail” is a hard to extreme ride.
