Description

Colorado’s landscape is iconic around the world. From the sandstone towers of Colorado National Monument, to the drivable 14ers of Mt. Evans and Pikes Peak, to the wandering roadways of Rocky Mountain National Park. Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides want to show you our extraordinary backyard, with the vistas and the wildlife that live between them. Join Colorado Wilderness Rides and guides for a custom sightseeing experience where you’ll get to see the best of Colorado with our fun enthusiastic guides and our comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. We’ll show you the state like very few others get to see!

Colorado’s rich history is built around its gold mining past, and many of these relics are still standing. Some people who still live here may go on their own gold mining expedition to see if they can find if any gold has been left behind.  We’ll get an up-close look at Colorado’s Wild West past and how it developed into the outdoor and cultural mecca that Colorado is today. We’ll explore the Native American culture, the arrival of the first settlers, the development of gold mining, and how Colorado continues its rich traditions today. We’ll get to explore Colorado’s famed public lands, from its national and state parks to its refuges, open spaces, and national monuments. Outside of Colorado, we’ll get to explore the grand lands of the Western Slope and discover Utah’s canyon country and the desert scenery of the Southwest. Call Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides to book your custom Colorado sightseeing adventure today!
