Description

Boulder is one of America’s most vibrant outdoor and cultural meccas, known not only for its mountains, but also for its art, culinary scene, breweries, and storied architecture. This tour will explore Boulder’s rich cultural history; from its beloved downtown with the historical Hotel Boulderado and the Boulder Theater, to its many breweries, restaurants, and shopping district. We’ll even have time to drive up part of Flagstaff Road, at the top of one of Boulder’s highest peaks and overlook the landscape all the way to Denver. Schedule this tour for the end of the day and watch sunset over the Continental Divide, see the city of Boulder lit-up in lights, and learn about all Boulder’s natural and local history. This is a great trip for families, groups, group tours, wedding groups, reunions, individuals, aspiring photographers, and those interested in history and natural history or sightseeing.

Trip Details

Itinerary: We’ll drive to Boulder and explore the downtown including Pearl Street, the Hotel Boulderado, and Boulder Theater. Along the way we’ll learn about Boulder’s rich history as a mining camp and then slowly growing to one of America’s cultural centers. We will have time to explore Boulders vibrant downtown as well as its open spaces. The day ends with a trip up flagstaff mountain where the views are expansive – both over the planes to the east and the high mountains to the west. We can also add visits to Boulder scientific sights and most famous tea producer.

Included in our rates: The services of a professional guide, round-trip transportation from Boulder, snacks and water (lunch is also included on full-day tours), any entrance fees for sights (except state or national parks), education about local and natural history (including library of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna).

Not included in our rates: Park entrance fees, which are $10 per person daily for Eldorado Canyon State Park and $10 per person per week for Rocky Mountain National Park. Entrance fees are paid directly to the Parks upon entrance, gratuities for your guide are also not included (while the amount is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%).

Special Notes: Denver hotel pick-up is extra $120 per group. Groups of 6 or more are charged a 20% service charge (guide gratuity).
