Explore Colorado’s rich cultural and natural history with a fascinating tour through Downtown Golden, Colorado and the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We’ll explore historical mining sites, Wild West relics, and Colorado’s bustling craft brew industry. Time permitting we’ll get to see the grave of Wild West showman Buffalo Bill, and explore the museum dedicated to the history of American mountaineering. Along the way, getting to see spectacular views overlooking Denver and Denver International Airport.

Price: $130 per person (based on 4 people)
Note: We guarantee departure regardless of your group size, but there are different prices. $130 pp for 4 people or more; $145 pp for 3 people; $180 for 2 people; $305 for 1 person. We happily take our solo travelers all the time.
Itinerary: We’ll leave Boulder or Denver and drive approximately 30 minutes to Golden, enjoying a gorgeous panorama of the Flatirons and Eldorado Canyon or the Golden Cliffs along the way. When we get to Golden we’ll see the famous Coors brewery or a local Golden microbrewery, and possibly take a tour and tasting as well. Sometimes, we stop at America most famous mountaineering museum and dive into the rich climbing history of US. While in Golden, we’ll drive up one of the most historic roads in Colorado history and possible explore a local Canyon. As we ascend above Golden we will visit ancient dinosaur tracks or the museum and grave of Buffalo Bill, the famed Western showman, and look over the beautiful Colorado landscape. The conclusion of this tour will be seeing Denvers’ own Buffalo herd (if they are not hiding) and the Colorado’s most famous music venue – Red Rocks.
Included in our rates: The services of a professional guide, round-trip transportation from Boulder or Denver, snacks, water, all admission or entrance fees and education about local and natural history (including library of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna)
Not included in our rates: Gratuities for your guide (the amount is at your discretion, but the recommended gratuity is 20%).
Special Notes: We have a few variations of this tour and depending on group interests, the actual itinerary might be slightly different each time. If the tour is visiting Red Rocks, we recommend an am tour in summer as the park closes in afternoon on concert nights. Denver hotel pick-up is extra $120 per group. Groups of 6 or more are charged a 20% service charge (guide gratuity).
