Loch Vale and Sky Pond is a moderately strenuous hike that leads to beautiful vistas of Glass Lake and Sky Pond. These glaciers feed to lakes below including Taylor Glacier, Powel Peak, and the nationally famous Petit Grepon Climbing formation in Rocky Mountain National Park. Cost: $190 per person( based on 4 or more people)
We guarantee departure regardless of your group size, but prices are based on the number of participants. $190 per person for 4 or more people; $230 per person for 3 people; $285 per person for 2 people; $500 for 1 person. We happily take solo travelers all of the time.
A gear list will be sent upon confirmation of course registration, and we’re happy to help arrange for personal gear if you do not have it.
Itinerary: Plan on hiking between 9 miles and 10,810‘ of elevation gain at altitudes from 9200’ – 10,810’. Hikes will be chosen based on current conditions, group fitness levels and safety.
Included in our rates: The services of a professional hiking guide, round-trip transportation from Boulder to the trailhead, snacks and lunch, water, education about local and natural history, including library for Rocky Mountain flora and fauna, group CB, group medical kit, and contingency and emergency support.
Not included in our rates: Gratuities for your guide (while the amount is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%). Park entrance fees, which is $10 per person daily for Rocky Mountain National Park (Note: entrance fees are paid directly to the Parks upon entrance). Denver hotel pick-up is extra $100 per group.
