Trip Details

Itinerary: After arriving at the rafting area you will be issued your wetsuit, helmet and personal flotation device. Once changed and ready to raft, you will meet your guide and get safety instructions and then be shuttled to the river. The minimum age for rafters is seven years old. Depending on the flow of the river, you can expect to spend 1-1.5 hours on the river.

Included in our rates: The services of a professional rafting guide; rafting trip; wetsuit, booties, and personal flotation device.  On Clear Creek trips, a photo album link is also included.

Not included in our rates: Gratuity for your guides; snacks or water, which you will need to bring along with you for before or after the trip.

Price Notes: For safety, Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides includes a wetsuit and booties in our price. We firmly believe in your overall safety and comfort so, while some companies have wetsuits, booties, gloves and splash-jackets as add-on options, we include them in our price. The wetsuit and the booties help to protect you from the icy cold mountain waters of Clear Creek Canyon and thus are included in our price. We also believe it would be a shame not to capture memories of your Colorado Whitewater Rafting adventure, so we also include a photo album link to remember your incredible day. Please note that when the river runs at the highest level the minimum age will be increased to 10 years old for needed for safety.

Special Notes: For those wanting great whitewater rafting trips near Denver and Boulder, this is a great option.

Difficulty Description:  Class II – III rapids and whitewater. CLASS II – Easy rapids with predictable waves, clear passages, and wide channels; some maneuvering is required. CLASS III – Moderately difficult rapids with irregular waves and some complex maneuvering required to avoid obstacles. During high water levels, there might be 1-2 rapids at class 4.
