The climbing skills clinic is designed to improve the ability, knowledge and aptitude of all climbers from beginners to those planning cutting edge ascents across the world. Whether you’re a beginner climber, a sport climber looking to improve your skill or a trad climber dreaming of big wall, we’ll help you reach your dreams. Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides has been of long time service to the climbing community, leading trips across Colorado and Utah and utilizing Colorado’s premier climbing guides to help climbers reach their goals. Our guides have travelled and climbed around the world, and bring a wealth of combined experience to help you reach your goals. Since 2015, Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides is a concessionaire for Rocky Mountain National Park, offering technical climbing, mountaineering, ski mountaineering, and outdoor education within the boundaries of the national park. Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides also offer AMGA SPI (Single Pitch Instructor) courses and re-certification. We’ll get you set for expedition climbing, teaching fundamental skills for big climbing goals and expedition management or we’ll teach you how to effectively and efficiently climb multi-pitch or improve your bouldering skills. No matter what you’re dreaming, our climbing skills clinic can help you get there.

Course Details
Rate: $220 per participant
We guarantee departure regardless of your group size, but there are different prices. $220 pp for 4 people or more; $265 pp for 3 people; $305 for 2 people; $510 for 1 person.
Itinerary: We depart and end from your Boulder or a central meeting spot, while driving 10-20 minutes to the climbing site. While driving, we will cover vital safety and climbing considerations. After arriving at trailhead, we will confirm all safety and personal climbing equipment (shoes, harness, helmets, belay devises, and more). Our hike to the climbing area will be between 5 to 20 minutes based on where we decide to climb and the desires of the group. On the rock, we will spend 6 to 7 hours climbing and working on skills. At the completion, we will rejoice in our memorable experience together.
Included in our rates: The services of a professional rock climbing guide, any rock climbing equipment (helmet, harnesses, shoes, delay devises), round-trip transportation from your Boulder hotel or our office, snacks and water and lunch, and education about local and natural history (including library of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna).
Not included in our rates: Park entrance fees, which are $10 per person daily for Eldorado Canyon State Park and $10 per person per week for Rocky Mountain National Park. Entrance fees are paid directly to the Parks upon entrance, gratuities for your guide are also not included (while the amount is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%).
