Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most photogenic national parks in the nation. From Longs Peak dominating the skyline to Hallett Peak rising sharply above Emerald Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park is a paradise for landscape, wildlife, and sport photographers. This tour will take you to the heart of our country’s fourth most-popular national park, from the meadows to the high peaks, in search of some of North America’s most iconic scenery.
Trip Details
Itinerary: As we enter Rocky Mountain National Park, we’ll immediately be greeted by spectacular views of the southern Rockies. We’ll be surrounded by wildlife, mountains, and grand vistas. Your guide will pull off at strategic points where you’ll be able to get the best view at the right time of day. We’ll also have time to explore Bear Lake and Emerald Lake, with Hallett Peak magnificently reflected in their waters. Along the way, you’ll learn and hone your photography techniques while being coached by our enthusiastic and expert photography guides.
Included in our rates: The services of a professional photography guide, round-trip transportation from Boulder, snacks, water, and lunch, and education about local and natural history, including our library of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna books, photography education (i.e lighting, time lapse, exposure, aperture, landscape photography, wildlife photography, sunset or sunrise imagery, beginner skills, intermediate skills, advanced photo skills, and more.)
Not included in our rates: Rocky Mountain National Park entrance fees, which are $15 per person per week and are payable directly to the Park upon entrance; and gratuity for your guide (the amount is at your discretion, but the recommended gratuity is 15-20%). Note: groups of 6 or more are charged a 20% service charge (guide gratuity).
Special Notes: Clients are expected to bring their own camera gear. Our goal is to help educate our guests on their own equipment. We can arrange special camera, lenses, or photography equipment for an additional charge. Each day is based on the educational and photography goals .
