Great for the whole family, Teller Ranches’ Mountain Bike Ride will provide amazing views of sandstone cliffs, golden prairies, and the Continental Divide. This easy mountain bike route includes spectacular vistas of the Continental Divide, wide-open prairies, towering sandstone cliffs, pastoral farmlands, canals, and raptor nesting grounds. The route, deep in the heart of Boulder’s agricultural heritage and White Rocks Nature Preserve, is a great beginner and family route with no major climbs and fun, easy riding. The tour follows wide singletrack, doublewide track and some farm-vehicle roads for a 9.7 mile out-and-back route.
Price: $145 per person
Note: All of our trips are guaranteed to depart but our prices are based on the number of participants:$145 per person with 4 or more guests; $165 per person with 3 people; $205 per person with 2 people; and, $350 for a solo traveler. We happily take solo travelers out all the time!
A gear list will be sent upon confirmation of course registration, and we’re happy to help arrange for personal gear if you do not have it.
Itinerary: We depart from your hotel or a central meeting spot and drive 10-15 minutes to the designated trailhead. While driving, we will cover vital safety and riding considerations. After arriving at the trailhead, we will custom fit your bike and then head off for an enjoyable off-road bike tour.
Included: The services of professional biking guide(s); bike rental (Fuji hard-tailed mountain bike) and helmet; round-trip transportation between hotel or central meeting location and trailheads (if needed); water and snacks; education about local and natural history; repair kits (floor pump, hand pump, patch kits, etc.); and, emergency medical kit.
Not Included: Gratuities for guide(s) – while this is at your discretion, the recommended gratuity is 20%. Denver hotel pick-up is an extra $100 per group.
Special Notes: Bike upgrade available! We can arrange for a full suspension mountain bike for an additional cost.
Difficulty Description: Easy: Gentle climbs and easily avoided obstacles such as rocks and roots. Moderate: Steep slopes and/or obstacles, possibly on narrow trails with poor traction. Requires riding experience and some fitness.
