Colorado’s Upper Gore Canyon Class V – 9/2/2017 (Call for Availability!!)

Colorado’s Gore Canyon Class V – 9/2/2017 (Call for Availability!!) – Guided Colorado Whitewater Rafting

Our close friends at Adventures In Whitewater (AW) will be offering a Gore Canyon Class V Whitewater Rafting Trip on Saturday  September 2nd, 2017. They need 12 participants minimum (three boats of 4 paddlers). Due to the difficulty of Upper Gore Canyon 3 boats is minimum for running the river for safety.

Most of the year Upper Gore Canyon is Class VI and un-runable. But for the last 3 weeks it is class V and ready for running. Our friends at AW have been running the Canyon most days of the week for training and making sure they are dialed in on lines. Now is the time to experience ones of true classic American Whitewater. Most likely the ultimate guided class V river in the United States, Upper Gore Canyon is sure to be an amazing whitewater adrenaline experience.

Background: Upper Gore Canyon drops 400′ in 5 miles, consisting of three class V rapids, four class IV+ rapids, and miles of consistent class IV rapids. This is a very physical, demanding, and humbling stretch of river. Previous rafting experience (at least Class IV), strong physical condition, good swimming ability, and a serious mentality are required.

Contact us for availability! 720-242-9828. $175 per person (6 hours RT from Kremmling, Colorado)
